It is the licence class that allows a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant to represent clients before the Immigration and Refugee Board — at refugee hearings, detention reviews, admissibility hearings and certain appeals.
No. Our office is in Brampton and we serve Mississauga and the GTA in person, but consultations are also available virtually for clients anywhere in Canada.
Since Bill C-12 became law, claims made more than one year after first entering Canada (for entries after June 24, 2020) are generally not referred to the IRB, although a Pre-Removal Risk Assessment may be available. See the new one-year and 14-day rules and book a consultation to check your dates.
